It’s undeniable that the one thing you need to succeed in your online business is traffic. And free traffic beats everything else. So where do we get free traffic? Google and other search engines.

The process works in a way that you have experienced many many times. You visit your favorite search engine. Enter the words you’re interested in. And click one of the links that shows up. You also need to make sure the title tags, outbound links and the domain itself match the topic of the page. Each of these plays a roles in Google determination about your site.

Link juice

The second factor is your linking. The links coming in and the links going out are included in this. You want to make sure you have more inbound links than outbound links. So the number of inbound links is important.

A very easy way to get a lot of links to your site is through article marketing. To accomplish this you start by writing an article that targets the keywords you’re after. Then you have to create multiple versions of this articles. Because you’re going to post a unique copy of it to lots of different websites. The more sites you can do this for, the more links you’ll get back.

Another great way to keep your page content fresh is to enable comments on it and allow others to discuss your page topic. This means you need to get real live people to your site, as well. One simple method for doing this is to use forums.

Create profiles on lots of forums about your site’s topic. Visit often and make posts. And link back to yourself in your signature file. This will get your more inbound links. And it gets people to visit the site you link to.
